Private Practice
Therapy for the kids who find reading hardest.
I work 1:1 with children on speech, language, and literacy — in person in Colorado and virtually. Every plan is built on explicit, evidence-based instruction, and shaped around the child in front of me.
What I treat
Speech, language, and literacy under one roof
Dyslexia & reading
Evaluation and 1:1 structured literacy intervention for students who are struggling to read, spell, or decode — grounded in Orton-Gillingham and the Science of Reading.
Speech sound disorders
Articulation, phonology, and childhood apraxia of speech — with literacy woven directly into sessions rather than treated as a separate goal.
Language
Receptive and expressive language, vocabulary, and comprehension, including the language skills that underpin reading and writing.
Parent coaching
Practical, specific guidance so families can support reading and speech at home — and understand what their child actually needs.
Why families come to me
Speech and reading are connected. I treat them that way.
Many children are working on speech sounds in one place and reading in another, with no one connecting the two. As a speech-language pathologist trained through the Orton-Gillingham Academy, I bring both together — so the sounds a child is learning to say are the same sounds they are learning to read and spell.
How it works
Getting started
Reach out
Tell me a bit about your child and what you are seeing. I will let you know whether I am the right fit.
Evaluation
We start with a clear picture of strengths and needs, so therapy targets the right skills from day one.
Ongoing therapy
Regular 1:1 sessions with explicit, evidence-based instruction — and progress you can actually see.
Sessions are available in person in Colorado and virtually. Reach out and we will find a time that works.
